Palangka Raya, 12 April 2023 – H. Abdul Rasyid AS, owner of the Citra Borneo Indah (CBI) Group and Founder of the Abdul Rasyid Foundation (ARF) and wife, Hj. Nuriyah returned to giving zakat assets to people in need. Zakat assets are always issued by the H. Abdul Rasyid family every year. This year H. Abdul Rasyid and his family gave zakat assets in the form of groceries, namely rice and cooking oil which were distributed to people in Central Kalimantan.

A total of 500,000 kg of rice and 100,000 liters of cooking oil were distributed to people in Central Kalimantan.

"The distribution of zakat for Mr. H. Abdul Rasyid and his family is given to people in Central Kalimantan. The amount of zakat distributed is 500,000 kg of rice and 100,000 liters of cooking oil. Each of the basic food packages provided is 1 sack of rice of 10 kg and 2 liters of cooking oil." Said Nadia Destiyani Rachman, S. Psi, ARF & CBI Group representative.

Nadia also explained that the purpose of Mr. H. Abdul Rasyid and his family handing over zakat in the form of food packages was so that they could help people in need. Especially considering that the price of basic necessities is currently experiencing a high spike. He hopes that what is given through zakat can be useful and useful for those in need.

The distribution of zakat also cooperates with Korem 102/PJG, the Central Kalimantan Provincial Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS), and the Central Kalimantan Branch of the National Amil Zakat Institute for Civil Welfare Foundation (LAZNAS YAKESMA). Through this collaboration, Mr. H. Abdul Rasyid and his wife, Hj. Nuriyah hopes that the distribution of zakat can be distributed on target according to the data of the people who really need it.

In addition, it is hoped that the zakat assets issued this year will provide good benefits and blessings for all of us, including those who help in the distribution process.

The Chairperson of the Central Kalimantan BAZNAS, Mustain Khaitami, S. Ag also expressed his gratitude and will distribute the zakat mandate from Mr. H. Abdul Rasyid and his family as well as possible.

“Thanks to Mr. H. Abdul Rasyid and Mrs. Hj. Nuriyah. We will carry out this mandate as well as possible, distributing the zakat assets to people who really need them." concluded Mustain Khaitami.

He added that he hopes that the distribution of zakat can be an example for other parties.
