Abdul Rasyid Foundation Holds Educational Innovation Training for Teachers and School Principals.

Central Kalimantan, February 2025 – The Abdul Rasyid Foundation successfully held a Training on the Development of Educational Innovation Programs with the theme "One School, One Innovation & One Teacher, One Inspiration". This event aimed to improve the capacity of principals and teachers in developing sustainable innovation projects and provide a positive impact on the world of education.

This training focused on integrating the 3P (People, Planet, Product) principles and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in every educational innovation. With a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Project-Based Learning (PjBL) approach, participants were trained to formulate problems in a SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) manner and develop structured and implementable action plans.

Training Focus and Methods

During the three-day training, participants received intensive material on:

• Management of educational innovation projects.

• Creating activity schedules and forming student and teacher work teams.

• Continuous monitoring and evaluation strategies.

• Application of school innovation assessment rubrics.

• Preparation of research reports and project results dissemination strategies.

Participants were also trained in preparing systematic research reports and interactive presentation techniques to disseminate the results of innovation projects to various stakeholders.

Continuous Support and Assistance

As part of a long-term commitment, the Abdul Rasyid Foundation provides direct assistance to participants through facilitator visits to schools. This assistance includes field observation, interviews, and peer review to ensure the sustainability and potential for replication of innovations in other schools.

Miran Suhardi, Head of CSR CBI Group, said, "This training is very important in equipping teachers and principals with the skills and insights to create relevant and impactful educational innovations. We hope this program will produce innovative projects that can be adapted by other schools."

Sustainability Agenda and Education Competition

As a follow-up, the Abdul Rasyid Foundation will hold various events related to educational innovation, including seminars on the dissemination of innovation results, exhibitions, and education conferences in Central Kalimantan. In addition, an educational innovation competition will be held, where schools from various districts will showcase their best work.

As the highlight of the event, the competition winners will be announced and awarded in July 2025. In addition, the Abdul Rasyid Foundation will present a book containing the results of educational innovations to Mr. Abdul Rasyid as the owner of the CBI Group as a form of appreciation for his contribution to the advancement of education in Indonesia.

With this training and competition, it is hoped that educational innovation in schools can continue to develop and make a real impact in creating a better learning ecosystem for future generations.
